The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is alarmed in regards to the high variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the more info lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office focused on service the area daily. The company issue made for intervention ordeals a large influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that office here to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to allow the servicing of all clients and improve usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
